Fifth Dominican Cigar Festival to be Held in February

The Dominican Republic’s "Procigar Festival" will be held for the fifth consecutive year this coming month of February. The Dominican Republic is the world’s leading cigar manufacturer. The event is scheduled to take place from February 19-24 in Santiago – the country’s second largest city and the Caribbean Capital of Cigars, and in La Romana, on the country’s eastern region and a mecca for golf lovers. From February 19-21 the festival is scheduled to take place in Casa de Campo, the world-famous Caribbean resort, situated in the city of La Romana. The second half of the festival will take place in Santiago, from February 21-24, at the Gran Almirante Hotel, the city’s most important hotel.
